Five questions for the first pair

Identity

Does the code and variant match the quoted product?

Fit

Can internal length and width be measured consistently?

Build

Do panels, seams, sole and fastening match the specification?

Pack

Are box, accessories, pair weight and carton assumptions clear?

Shoe labels need a measurement system

Record the size label, regional system and internal or insole length. Ask where the measurement begins and ends. A conversion chart without a defined length may simply move the ambiguity into another column.

Men's and women's ranges can use different lasts or sizing assumptions. Do not merge them just because the printed number looks similar.

Slides, slippers and skate shoes require their own checks

Slides and slippers need footbed length, strap or upper fit, outsole and packaging details. Skate shoes may need extra information about sole construction, reinforcement and padding. Chunky sneakers deserve closer attention to pair weight, carton volume and the effect of rigid packaging.

Box decisions change both condition and shipping

  • Is an individual shoe box included, optional or unavailable?
  • What protective material surrounds the pair?
  • What is the gross packed weight for one pair?
  • How many pairs fit one export carton?
  • Are carton dimensions measured after final packing?
  • Can different sizes be mixed without losing identifiers?

A supplier label is not verification

A page or contact can claim to supply footwear without proving its identity or responsibility. Check the current business details, product page, quotation basis, sample route and transaction protections separately.

Judge the sample by specifications you can trace and tradeoffs you can describe, not by promotional language or one attractive photo.
