The review
Nine questions to answer before saving
- The item belongs in the category I am researching.
- The album or catalog photos show the details that matter.
- Watermarks and contact details are reasonably consistent.
- Sizing, measurements or fit notes are visible when needed.
- Price is compared with similar results rather than judged alone.
- Shipping weight does not remove the value.
- The source or purchase link matches the item being shown.
- QC photos are relevant to the same item or source when available.
- I can explain why I would save this result.
Use one point per statement. A missing answer gets zero for now; it does not become a yes because the information might exist elsewhere.
Score bands
How to score a result
Strong shortlist candidate, but still not verified. Keep the evidence and unknowns attached.
Research further. Identify the missing answer that could change your decision.
Weak evidence. Keep only if a specific follow-up is realistic and useful.
Remove for now. A broad album or attractive image is not enough.
A strong pattern
Example of a useful shortlist candidate
The row preserves the album URL, exact product code, source host and date checked. Photos include side, heel, outsole and inside views. A size note gives a measurement point. The source appears to show the same variant, and relevant QC images can be connected to the item code. Packed weight remains an estimate, so that point is not awarded.
The result is worth saving because the comparison trail is clear—not because the item or seller has been verified.
A weak pattern
Example of a result to remove for now
The row has a cropped front image and a vague “good” note. The album URL is missing, the source opens a different item, dimensions and interior photos are absent, the price has no date, and there is no way to connect the claimed QC image to the row.
The fastest improvement is not another score. Recover the original page and product identifier; if that cannot be done, remove the lead.
Stop rule
One-sentence save rule
Save only what you can explain
“I am keeping this result because the category, image details, measurements and source match my comparison, while shipping weight and seller reliability remain unconfirmed.”
If you cannot finish that sentence without vague praise, return to the missing evidence or remove the result.
Next move
What to do after scoring
For a strong candidate, compare the album photos with relevant QC photos, review shipping weight, and apply the risk framework to the uploader, source link, contact and payment route.
For a mid-range result, choose one missing answer and set a stop rule. For a weak result, do not let sunk time turn poor evidence into a permanent bookmark.
