Route map
Match the starting clue to the search job
| Starting clue | Best first route | Useful result |
|---|---|---|
| Known album URL | Open the exact public page. | The intended album, category or item record. |
| Product code | Search the exact code with punctuation preserved. | Pages that use the same identifier and can be compared. |
| Product type | Category plus material, color, use or construction. | A manageable set of relevant candidates. |
| Image | Broad and detail crops in a reverse-image tool. | Traceable pages, not merely similar thumbnails. |
| Brand label | Brand directory for navigation only. | A separate catalog category to inspect critically. |
Query design
Include words that change what should appear
Begin with the category, then add one or two features that affect selection: material, color, shape, intended use, connector, dimensions or construction. Avoid promotional terms such as best or high quality because they rarely narrow visible evidence.
Example progression
bag → travel backpack → black travel backpack 14-inch laptop → exact product code if one appears.
Search log
Record what you tried so the next round is different
- Query or crop used.
- Tool or directory used.
- Date searched.
- Useful candidate URLs.
- Why results were kept or removed.
- What the next query must change.
A search log prevents repeated dead ends and exposes when a broader or narrower method is needed.
Stop rule
Do not confuse browsing volume with research quality
Stop when you have up to three candidates that answer the same brief, when a specific inquiry is now the only way to resolve the comparison, or when new results are reposts and irrelevant variants.
Record “no traceable result after [queries]” when the search fails. That is a useful outcome, not a reason to promote a weak match.
External directory
Open the catalog with a defined question
The search below opens yupoooo.com, a separate third-party catalog. Enter a neutral query and decide in advance which field the result must help you answer.
External results can change and are not verified by this guide.
